There were three journal vouchers (JVs) referencing the old fiscal year just prior to the June month close. These JVs were disapproved. If they need to be posted to the old fiscal year, please contact Accounting Services in USNH Financial Services.

13th month (June) was successfully closed over the weekend. The period was actually closed late Friday night.

The Grant budget rolls also occurred successfully over the weekend.

From this point forward, any activity required for old year (FY 06) will have to be completed by Accounting Staff in USNH Financial Services. If you need a journal entry done for FY06, please contact Linda Bisson. They will enter the journal for you. >

We are in FY 2007.

Equipment purchases with a unit cost of $5,000 and above with a useful life of more than one year should use the applicable capital equipment account code in the 740 series, generally 740000.

The general ledger was rolled on Friday night, June 30, and should also appear in the MR data from Sunday night’s refresh. All balances have been brought forward into the FY 2007 and dual year processing is in effect.

Please see the Old-Year/New-Year document for appropriate processing of activity.

All new-year budgets have been posted for all budgeted lines

Reminder that FY 2006 Personnel related encumbrances remain open until the last old year payroll has been processed later this week. These remaining encumbrances will be closed by Monday, July 10th. All old year activity should be processed into the system by Wednesday, July 12th. Thirteenth month will be closed on Friday, July 14th at which time the remaining grant budgets will be rolled into FY 2007.
