WHO CAN CARDHOLDERS PURCHASE FROM?

If the goods you need are provided by an on campus entity, use those services first.

At this time, you may use your Purchasing Card at the UNH and PSC bookstores.

You may NOT use your card at the

UNH Technology Center (UTC)
New England Center (NEC)
UNH Telecommunications
UNH Printing Services
UNH Athletics
KSC Bookstore

The Purchasing Card may be used to purchase authorized goods from suppliers. (See Procedure 9-104, What Can I Use the Card For?) The cardholder is responsible for ensuring preferred and contracted suppliers are given priority when planning a purchase and that all applicable purchasing policies and procedures are adhered to. (See List of Preferred and Contracted Suppliers.)

Please Note: In many cases the goods you need can be purchased from one of your own departments or what we call "on campus providers". Some examples of on campus providers are: on the UNH campus, the University Technology Center (UTC), UNH Printing Services, and Instructional Services, on the Keene Campus, KSC Bookstore.

Please remember to support your on campus providers when applicable. At this time, the Purchasing Card is not available for use with on campus providers. For purchases from on campus providers, continue using the internal purchase order document (POB).

When planning your purchase, contact the chosen supplier to ask whether they accept the Purchasing Card as a form of payment. If they say yes - go shopping! If they do not accept the Purchasing Card, notify your Campus Card Administrator that this supplier does not accept the Purchasing Card. The Campus Card Administrator will contact the supplier to determine if they would like to become card enabled. Then you have the following options:

  1. Contact another supplier who does accept the Purchasing Card.

  2. Purchase the goods through another available purchasing vehicle.

    Please remember to support your on campus providers when applicable. At this time, your Purchasing Card will not be available for use with on campus providers.
