Purpose and Scope
This documentation has been written to provide essential information about financial and administrative policies and procedures currently in effect throughout the University System of New Hampshire. Whenever reference is made to 'the documentation' it is in reference to the material contained on-line. No printed material is maintained as current. Those matters which generally apply to all campuses and departments are included in the main text. Campuses are welcome to supplement this material with their detailed internal procedures. Please contact the USNH Financial Services for more information.

 This documentation contains guidelines that have been established for the conduct of the financial and administrative affairs of the System and specific directions for meeting those guidelines. Instructions for the completion of necessary forms have been included as required. Detailed descriptions of data entry screens and use of CUFS tables are included in Chapters 20-29. When supportive, some descriptive data documenting how the University System uses various attributes of the CUFS accounting system have been included for your information.

 This documentation attempts to be as comprehensive as possible. It can serve as an important reference tool for all users of CUFS and all financial managers. It is not intended to replace training provided by each campus. Rather it should augment and serve as a foundation for the training users have available at their campus.

Master Tables - 1989 -AMS tables used by CUFS are described in full. (Note: some tables used at USNH are not developed by AMS, therefore will not be found in this documentation)
User's Guide - 1989 -A detailed description of CUFS for the financial manager and users providing data to CUFS as well as others who use reports.
Messages Manual - 1989 -Most application and CORE error messages are listed with a brief explanation.
Operations - 1990 -This manual provides functional descriptions of all CUFS programs. It is written for CUFS System Administrators and programmers.
